UCF's football opener is in jeopardy due to a nearby volcano.
The Knights are scheduled to open the season in Dublin against Penn State on Aug. 30.
However, scientists say there is a significant chance of an eruption after the Icelandic Met Office changed the aviation code to orange for the region. Orange means the region has an increased chance of an eruption.
The last volcano in 2010 disrupted more than 100,000 flights to and from Europe.
