Former UCF quarterback Blake Bortles will start his first game since the Fiesta Bowl in Thursday's preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons, according to the Florida Times-Union.

Bortles and the Jags will face Atlanta at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Throughout the NFL preseason, the UCF alumnus has impressed coaches. In his last outing, the first game he received reps with the starters, he completed 10-of-16 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown.

Head coach Gus Bradley named Chad Henne the team's starting quarterback for the regular season.
