On the sideline before an October football game, one person stood above the rest.
He wasn't a player for UCF nor opposing BYU, but rather high school basketball recruit Tacko Fall. Fans in the student section even once chanted "We want Tacko."
On Tuesday they got their wish.
Fall, a 7-foot-6 center from Tavares, decided to commit to UCF and head coach Donnie Jones.
Listed as a three-star recruit, according to Rivals.com, Fall chose UCF over schools such as Georgetown, Baylor, Georgia Tech and Kansas State. On Oct. 17, he took a visit to Georgetown but ultimately decided on the Knights.
Maxpreps.com stated that in 21 games last season, Fall averaged 11.1 points, five rebounds and one block per game while playing for Liberty Christian Prep.
