UCF basketball continues to rack up awards in the American Athletic Conference, and this time both the men's and women's team added a Rookie of the Week award to its resume. Women's basketball guard Aliyah Gregory earned her first honor of the season and men's basketball guard Adonys Henriquez earned his second as the Knights notched their names on two-of-four awards of the week in the AAC.

Gregory earned her honor by way of a 21-point performance in UCF's 76-70 win over Tulsa. She added six rebounds and two assists in her 32 minutes of action. She became the second women's basketball Knight to earn a conference honor this season after Zykira Lewis earned Player of the Week in the season opener with a 41-point outburst over Florida Atlantic.

Gregory is second on the team in scoring, averaging 11.9 points per game. She plays 26.5 minutes per game, which is third most on a team that sees nine Knights averaging 14.9 minutes or better through the team's first 13 games.

Henriquez earned his second Rookie of the Week honor and the team's fourth conference award in eight weeks. The freshman averaged 15.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in a pair of losses to Tulsa and Temple. He added three steals in Sunday's loss at Temple which clinched his spot at the top of all Rookies.

Henriquez averages a team best 34.4 minutes on the court. He's second with 12.1 points per game and sits second in the entire American Athletic Conference in three-point shooting percentage, going .447 percent from beyond the arc.

The women's team is back in action at 7 p.m. tonight against Memphis at the CFE Arena. The men's team has a bit of a break after two games on the road and hit the court on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. when it takes on SMU at home.
