UCF basketball junior forward Shaheed Davis was arrested on Jan. 12 for driving with a suspended license.
Davis' license was suspended in January 2014 for failure to pay with a notice that was given in December 2013, according to a UCF Police report obtained.
The day prior to his arrest, Davis was pulled over by UCF Police Department and was informed that his license was suspended. The report states that because Davis knew his license was suspended and was driving anyway, he was arrested.
Davis also had a second suspension on Feb. 14 for failing to pay a notice that was given in January 2014.
The Ohio native did not play in the team's win against Tulane two days after the arrest, however, he played in its loss to Memphis Saturday.
The junior forward is averaging 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in his first season at UCF. The Knights return to the court on the road against reigning national champion UConn Thursday at 7 p.m.
