UCF put its rod into the water and came up with a big fish in its 2015 recruiting class. Four star recruit Tristan Payton committed to UCF on Sunday during an official visit, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The wide receiver decommitted from the University of Southern California and UF previously. But on Sunday morning, Payton sent out a tweet confirming that he's now committed to UCF and attached a photo of himself and head coach George O'Leary.
Payton, coming out of Jacksonville First Coast, was the MVP of the Semper-Fi All-American Game earlier this month. He's listed at 6 foot, 182 pounds and runs a 4.63-second, 40-meter dash. Payton is now the second receiver to join UCF's 2015 recruiting class joining Cameron Stewart of Shiloh in Georgia.
National Signing Day is on Wednesday.
