No. 21 UCF, according to, finished tied for ninth in the competition-heavy LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La.

The Knights, who were outshot by No. 11 Mississippi State, No. 10 Wake Forest and No. 6 LSU among others, finished the 54-hole tournament at 53-over par.

On the back of sophomore Ashley Holder, UCF's five golfers carded a final round score that was eight strokes lower than their previous best round.

Holder, the 52nd ranked individual golfer, according to, carded a 10-over 226 to lead the Knights tied for 19th in the 89 person event.

Senior Monifa Sealy was not far behind. She tied for 23rd with a 12-over par. Junior Mary Mulcahy tied for 30th with a 15-over 231.

Senior Fanny Cnops and sophomore Ayaka Nakayama each tied for 36th with a 16-over par.

UCF will have a bit of time off before they tee up in the American Athletic Conference Championships in Palm Coast Fla. April 19.
