After a second consecutive walk-off defeat, UCF baseball has been eliminated from the American Athletic Conference Tournament.

The Knights lost 4-3 in their first game of the tournament against ECU and, on Thursday afternoon, again lost 4-3, this time to UCONN in 11 innings.

Robby Howell was pitching the 11th for UCF, and three UCONN singles, the final of which was a weakly hit line drive over second base, won the game for the Huskies and handed Howell the loss. He allowed just the one run in three and a third innings of relief.

The winning pitcher for Connecticut was Anthony Kay. Kay came in the game in relief in the 10th inning and then kept UCF off the scoreboard in the 11th as well.

For the second game in a row, Dylan Moore tallied two RBI for the Knights.

Now eliminated from the conference tournament, UCF will have to wait for the NCAA Tournament selection committee's decision as to whether the Knights deserve an at-large bid to the tournament, or whether the 2015 UCF baseball team has played its last game.
