The UCF men's basketball team announced plans to participate in three games in Nassau, Bahamas, this summer. The Knights will play on August 9, 11 and 12 at the Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium.

UCF will square up against the Patron Regulators and Real Deal Shockers in the first two contests. Both teams play in the New Providence Basketball Association. The third game will be against the IBA Elite.

"We are excited to take this trip to the Bahamas in August," head coach Donnie Jones said in a press release. "It is a great opportunity for our young team to learn and bond with each other before the school year. The competition will be great, but team building and having fun will also be very important for us on this trip."

The Knights are returning to the Bahamas after visiting in fall 2011 to play in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

Newcomers Chad Brown, Tacko Fall and Tanksley Efianayi will join seven of the team's eight leading scorers from a season ago.
