The Knights' baseball season may have come to end but pitcher Jason Bahr's game is still in full swing.
On Tuesday night, the redshirt freshman participated in the 12th annual Florida Collegiate Summer League All-Star Game.
While playing at Memorial Stadium in Sandford, the Longwood native saw an inning of relief for the North All-Stars. He recorded a strikeout and a walk as he got through the inning without allowing a run. The North All-Stars were defeated, 7-1.
Bahr is spending this summer in a starting pitcher role with the third-place Sanford River Rats (15-10). He has started five games, recording 22 strikeouts and a 1.90 earned run average in 19 innings on the mound.
In 2014, he started in seven games for the Knights Baseball Club of the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA). He fanned 42 batters in 30.2 innings and had a 2.39 ERA.
Bahr made the Knights' NCAA team for the 2015 season and appeared in one game, striking out at batter.
