Baltimore Raven and former UCF wide receiver Breshad Perriman is out indefinitely after re-injuring his PCL during pre-game warm-ups prior to Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
The 26th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft was unable to participate in the NFL Combine due to a hamstring injury and has been out with a knee injury that has remained since the first day of training camp.
According to Garrett Downing of BaltimoreRavens.com, Perriman visited orthopedic sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews to re-examine his knee injury. Andrews determined there was no additional damage after Sunday’s warm-ups.
While at UCF, Perriman pulled in 2,243 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns on 115 receptions. He is ranked No. 10 overall in UCF history in career receiving yards.
The 22-year-old also caught a Hail Mary from Justin Holman to clinch a share of the American Athletic Conference championship in the 2014 season.
