UCF Football announced Monday that UCF's third conference game of the year will take place on Oct. 17 as the Knights take on the Temple Owls.
The game is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised by CBS Sports Network, according to a release.
In 2013, the Knights were able to top the Owls, 39-36, in the final minutes after a game-tying touchdown — "The Catch" — which featured J.J. Worton's one-handed grab from Blake Bortles in the back of the endzone. Last season, UCF continued its Temple victory with a 34-14 win after the Owls were held scoreless in the second half.
Before heading to Philadelphia, the Knights will take on the UConn Huskies on Saturday at the Bright House Networks Stadium at 3:45 p.m.
