On March 16, at 6:04 p.m., former UCF backup quarterback Bo Schneider announced his decision via Twitter to transfer to Pittsburgh this summer.
"Thank you to my coaches, teammates and Knight Nation for my time at UCF. I am transferring to Pittsburgh this summer to play football. #H2P," Schneider tweeted.
The freshman quarterback started in three games of UCF's 2015 campaign and played in a total of eight matches. He threw for 51 completed passes out of 105 attempts, culminating 534 yards and two touchdowns.
Prior to attending UCF, Schneider, originally from Dallas, Texas, attended Jesuit high school and received three stars from Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN. Ranked No. 43 by ESPN among pocket-passer quarterbacks, he finished with 45 touchdown passes, throwing only eight interceptions and totaling 3,492 passing yards in his senior year campaign.
