UCF’s Executive Associate Athletics Director and Chief Financial Officer Brad Stricklin was named the College Athletic Business Management Association Manager of the Year at the organization’s annual convention earlier this week.
CABMA’s Manager of the Year honor is awarded annually to a person who has made enormous contributions to the profession of athletic business and a person who has been a part of the 66-year-old CABMA organization.
Stricklin started at UCF in 2006, overseeing business operations, human resources, information technology and equipment operations. He served as UCF’s interim director of athletics for three months, from October 2015 through December 2015.
Stricklin is also the sports administrator for UCF’s volleyball and men’s and women’s golf.
