UCF agrees to two-year deal with BYU

Add another high-profile team to the Knights' 2011 schedule.

The Knights and BYU Cougars have agreed to play each other in 2011 in Provo, Utah. BYU will travel to Orlando in 2014.

The game will replace the Knights' previously scheduled game at Texas. That game has been rescheduled for 2017.

The Cougars went 11-2 in 2009 and won the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas against Oregon State.

Iowa-transfer Jeff Brinson tore his ACL during practice drills earlier this week. The backup running back's season-ending injury was announced on Coach George O'Leary's weekly radio show, "Lunch with George."

The injury to Brinson thins an already strung-out Knights backfield. Starting running back Brynn Harvey is expected to miss four games. Sophomore Jonathan Davis will fill in at first on the depth chart until Harvey's return. Redshirt-sophomore Brendan Kelly is second-string on the depth chart.
