The UCF Campus Activities Board put on the First Annual Knightmare Ball at the Pegasus ballroom Tuesday night. The event was part of their "Sweet Dreams, Beautiful Knightmare" week.  Students enjoyed trick or treating, fortune telling, and snacked on popcorn, cotton candy, and pizza.

In attendance was the RUKUS dance group, who put on a show for fellow students. They got the party started and crowd going with music from Gaga, Ke$ha and other artists.

"Last night's events were a grand display of the dance club's ability to choreograph a performance," said William Beeson, a student at UCF.

Most students danced the night away listening to the sounds of DJ Jay J.

If dancing wasn't enough students had an opportunity to get their fortune told by Destinee Cushing.  A simple yes or no question and their future was clear.

Last year's event brought in a good amount of students, but this year CAB expected a better crowd. Alexis Costa, head of CAB's cinema committee, was hoping for a big turnout.

"We did a similar event last year called Thriller. This year though we decided to change it up" Acosta said. "We're hoping about 500 students show up tonight."

Maggie Perez, a CAB member, also known as Lady Gaga for the night, was dressed to impress.

"I am completely obsessed with Lady Gaga, so I knew I had to be her for Halloween," Perez said.

As for scariest costume, that award went to UCF student William Beeson. All people could do was gaze at the terrifying scarecrow, as he made his way through the crowd.

"I enjoy any excuse to throw on a ridiculous get up and parade around, especially when I get to scare a person or two," Beeson said.

Every month CAB holds events on campus to give students a place to go and enjoy themselves with some entertainment.

Wednesday night, CAB ended the "Sweet Dreams, Beautiful Knightmare" week with a free screening of Inception. The event was also a pajama night, students were able to sit outside, and enjoy a movie under the stars.
