Rock band Kansas' anniversary tour makes a stop at UCF

Kansas, in celebration of their 35th anniversary, continued their Collegiate Symphony Tour at the UCF Arena on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Greer hoped that these donations would help to strengthen the UCF music program and the students within it.

"We wanted to pass on the torch, to give a little back towards these struggling music departments," Greer said to the crowd between songs. "By this turnout, I don't know how struggling they really are. Arts programs are usually the first to be cut, and [with these donations] we are trying to reverse that trend."

Anyone who had a chance to attend this and didn't... wow, you really missed out on a magical evening. It's wonderful that such a legendary band is giving back and helping collegiate music programs. Thank you, Kansas!
