It's that time of the year again, Knights. It's the time when you can rock out at a free concert, laugh out loud at a comedy show, support your school at a football game and jump into a pond — all in one week.

Get ready for Homecoming Week, one of the most anticipated weeks of the fall semester, when every event is free for students. Here's a breakdown of what's happening when.

Oct. 19

Kidz Carnival @ UCF IM Fields, noon

This is the fifth annual Kidz Carnival, hosted by UCF student organizations. Free for all future Knights, the carnival will consist of fun kid-friendly games and supervised booths facilitated by students.

Movie Knight @ CFE Arena, 9 p.m.

Knights, Camera, Action! Come out for a good laugh at the annual Movie Knight with this year's showing, 22 Jump Street. Enjoy free popcorn, the free movie and commercials made by your fellow Knights. Trivia for the movie starts at 8 p.m.

Oct. 20

Concert Knight @ CFE Arena, 8 p.m.

Free for UCF students with a ticket and student ID, the concert will star B.o.B and feature Icona Pop.

Royalty Voting @ myUCF Portal, 9 a.m.

Log onto your myUCF account and cast your vote for who you believe would make the best Homecoming Queen and King for 2014.

Oct. 21

Skit Knight @ CFE Arena, 9 p.m.

This is the most competitive event of the week, where student organizations go head-to-head by singing, dancing and acting. Knight-Thon will be collecting donations benefiting the Children's Miracle Network. To pick your fan favorite, donate to Knight-Thon on your favorite organization's behalf and the highest amount of donations will determine the winner.

Oct. 22

Comedy Knight @ CFE Arena, 9 p.m.

Come laugh along with your fellow Knights at the antics of this year's comedic guests, Chris D'Elia and Ben Bailey.

Oct. 23

Coin Wars @ Student Union Patio from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Give pennies to your favorite student organizations and give silver coins or dollar bills to teams you want to beat. This event benefits the Children's Miracle Network, and all donations are given to Knight-Thon.

Oct. 24

Spirit Splash @ Reflecting Pond 2 p.m.

Named Best Campus Tradition 2011 by the National Association, the annual Spirit Splash is the nation's greatest pep rally. Free T-shirts, guest speakers and lots of ducks will be handed out. The special guest this year will be MC sWooZie.

Fireworks Display @ Memory Mall 9 p.m.

According to the UCF Homecoming Facebook page, a fireworks display will take place for the first time ever.

Oct. 25

Homecoming Game @ Bright House Networks Stadium, 5 p.m.

There is no better way to end Homecoming week than by watching the UCF Knights take on the Temple Owls. The crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen will also take place.
