UCF students receive Chegg tickets for Ed Sheeran visit
Ed Sheeran fans, rejoice. UCF students who had been anxiously awaiting more news on Ed Sheeran's impending visit received an unexpected email Tuesday with the words "Your ticket to UCF's #EdOnCampus!"
Chegg, the textbook rental website, sent out emails to selected students with instructions and details to attend the May 4 musical event at the UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center Grand Ballroom at 2 p.m.
Students are to save their spots by filling out a form attached in the email by April 24 at 8 p.m., and then bring the email with their current UCF student IDs to the Office of Student Involvement on April 30 or May 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Early March, UCF was selected as the winner from schools all over the nation to have singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran pay a visit on campus, as well as receive a $10,000 grant for UCF's music department.
Chegg later announced further details stating approximately 300 current students who voted would be randomly selected to attend the event.
Check back for more updates on the event as they develop.
