The Buzz: Three Heathers are better than one in this musical based on the 1989 classic film that follows the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. It will be performed in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center.

SAK Improv

The Buzz: For those looking for a good laugh, SAK is holding a Duel of Fools event, where two professional improv teams compete for laughs as they make up songs, scenes and characters on stage.

Pioneers of Progressive Rock Radio

The Buzz: The UCF FanFest is an event that introduces the current season’s football team to the student body and fans. Guests can enjoy personalized autograph opportunities and giveaways.

Orlando City Skip Day

The Buzz: Hosted by the Obie and Lil’ Shawn Morning Show. Enjoy lunch specials, free beer, a charity raffle and more.

The Buzz: Big Bang Bazaar will feature a curated selection of more than 200 local indie artists and crafters, along with a free photo booth, Orlando Psycho City Derby Girls and movies playing all day.

Orlando Truck & Jeep Fest

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Orange County Convention Center; 9800 International Drive, Orlando

The Buzz: The fest features product demonstrations for customization of four-wheel drive trucks and Jeeps. The event offers factory pricing and free giveaways every hour.

Red Bull BC One North America Final 2015

The Buzz: Guests of all ages are welcome to attend the one-on-one B-Boy World Championships, where there will be performances with rhythmic beats and break dancing moves. The event is first-come, first-served based on the venue’s capacity, and attendees are asked to arrive early for a better chance of admission.

Target Back-to-College Shopping Event

Where: Target at Waterford Lakes; 325 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando

The Buzz: Take advantage of this after-hours shopping event that is exclusive to UCF students. The event will include special deals, prizes, games and more. Bus transportation to and from campus will be provided.

Opening Knight 2015

The Buzz: Learn about 130 out of 624 involvement organizations at UCF, including sports clubs and Greek life. There will be Dominos pizza and Smoothie King provided.

Tropical Sundays with DJ Frankie G
