Dance the Hate Away

Where: Downtown Planned Parenthood; 726 S. Tampa Ave., Orlando

Cost: Free

The Buzz: Planned Parenthood supporters are rallying against religious groups that are protesting the downtown clinic. Supporters will gather an hour before at the Family Dollar, where there will be stretching, face painting, sign making and a chance to meet fellow activists. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink, flowy clothes.

“The Divine Sister”

When: 8 p.m.

Where: UCF Black Box Theatre

Cost: $10 for students, $20 standard

OrlandoiX Opening Party

The Buzz: Attendees are encouraged to celebrate Orlando’s growing reputation as a technology hub at the Orlando Interactive Experience opening party. There will be lots of giveaways and games, such as FIFA, ladder golf, beer pong and corn hole.

Nephew Tommy’s “I Got People Inside My Head” Tour

Healthy Knights Expo – Everything at UCF to help you live healthy!

The Buzz: The Health Center will be administering free flu shots for students (with student ID, while supplies last), and free, healthy snacks, health screenings and giveaways will be available for participants. Visit for a schedule of the different health workshops that will be held at the event.

UCF Rally for Respect

When: 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where: Reflecting Pond

Cost: Free

The Buzz: Participants can join UCF President Hitt, student representatives and Dr. Carolyn Walker Hopp in a rally around the Reflecting Pond in support of diversity and a more inclusive culture for all faculty, students and staff. Free T-shirts will be available for the first 300 willing to commit to respect.
