Looking for an alternative to the heart-wrenching creatures lurking around haunted houses and downtown parties?

Waterford Lakes Town Center will be hosting its fall festival, Brew 'n Boo, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

According to a release, families looking to enjoy a safe and entertaining Halloween can look forward to complimentary trick-or-treating at Waterford's retail stores, face painting by the Trixie Chick and bounce houses courtesy of Spacewalk Orlando.

At the beginning of the festival, Lakeside Cornhole and Orlando Cornhole will be teaming up for a Cornhole Tournament where the top finisher will be awarded $400.

The Florida Beer Festival and World of Beer will also be in attendance, serving guests 21 and older samples of of local popular, international and season ales, the release states.

Guests can enjoy food sampling throughout the night, as well as popular Halloween-themed music from a live DJ.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the event. Trick-or-treating for kids 12 and under is free. Photo ID is required for entry.
