Oblivion Taproom closes its doors Sunday
Fans of good burgers, craft beer and pop culture-themed menu items are mourning this week as Oblivion Taproom closes its doors for good.
The popular nightclub and restaurant announced on its Facebook page that its last day of operation will be Sunday, Jan. 31.
The eatery was well known throughout Orlando for its eccentric menu items, such as the Asian-inspired Godzilla burger and the Man in Black breakfast sandwich, its local selection of craft beers and its themed events, where customers were encouraged to dress up like Harry Potter characters, Star Trek voyagers and anthropomorphic animals called "furries."
"Thank you all for the support over the last four and a half years, we love you Orlando," the Facebook post read.
