During the week of Pegasus Palooza, writer, actress and stand-up comedian Natasha Leggero will perform at the CFE Arena at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

Nate Bargatze, who was recently named one of Esquire’s Best New Comedians by Jim Gaffigan, will perform as the opening act.

“We are very excited about this pairing of artists,” said Gaby Delgado, the comedy director for the UCF Campus Activities Board, in a press release. “Students will be able to relate to the style of these comedians, and they are the perfect pair to welcome our students back to campus.”

In addition, the Danish rock trio New Politics will take center stage at the CFE Arena at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25.

The group Max, led by actor and singer Max Schnedier, will perform as the opening act.

“We’re so excited [to] offer UCF such an entertaining and exciting show for the first week of classes,” said Lauren Natalie, the concert director for CAB, in a press release. “New Politics brings a phenomenal stage presence, and we can’t wait for campus to see them perform with Max.”

New Politics is returning to the Central Florida area on the heels of the release of their third album, Vikings. Their songs have been featured in Guitar Hero, Taco Bell commercials and several trailers for the musical fantasy movie Frozen.

Admission to both concerts is free for students with a valid UCF ID. General admission tickets are available through the CFE Arena or Ticketmaster for $20.
