UCF receives 'A' grade by collegiate ranking site
UCF was recently named No. 106 out of more than1,000 schools nationwide, according to Niche – a website that provides school reviews and rankings.
Based on the 50 statistical factors and nearly 12 million opinions from 300,000 students, the expansive rankings landed UCF an overall "A" Niche grade.
The lowest ranking was parking, which earned a C+.
Stanford University ranked No. 1 in the best overall category. In the state of Florida, the University of Florida reached No. 30 while Florida State University held on to No. 72.
UCF earned its A+ in various categories such as: campus quality, local area and weather, as well as for best guys and girls – a category that ranks students on campus for their personalities.
Overall, the highest rankings earned an "A" in categories including: athletics, off-campus dining, campus food, off-campus housing and even the party scene.
According to the Niche website, "A high ranking indicates that the college is an exceptional academic institution that attracts a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, the college is affordable and the students are very happy with their college experience."
