Wawa will be celebrating its grand opening for its 50th Florida store on Sept. 18 – located on Colonial Drive in Orlando.

To ring in the opening, Wawa will be giving away free coffee throughout the day in all of its Florida locations.

According to the company's press release, Wawa plans to donate more than $150,000 to six community nonprofits and host a Hoagies for Heroes Hall of Fame Competition led by police and fire chiefs.

"We could not be more excited to celebrate this incredible milestone in our newest Wawaland," said Chris Gheysens, Wawa's President and CEO, in a release.

Since its entrance into the Florida market in July of 2012, Wawa has opened 31 stores in Orlando, 19 in Tampa with plans to open nine more by the end of this year.

Representatives from Winnie Palmer, Second Harvest Food Bank, American Red Cross, as well as Wawa's mascot, Wally Goose, will join in a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Another part of the celebration will include the announcement of the next 50 stores set to open for the Florida market within the next two years.
