The UCF Police Department responded to a report of a strong arm robbery on campus Wednesday night.

Around 7 p.m., the suspects approached a woman near parking lots B12 and B13, located by the UCF water tower and Libra garage, and implied they had a weapon. The suspects, who were reportedly wearing gray sweatpants and black hoodies, stole the woman's purse and fled in a loud vehicle.

A UCF Alert was sent out around 7:30 p.m., and the area was cleared by about 9 p.m.

UCF PD has not yet located the suspects, said public information officer Courtney Gilmartin, and the case remains under active investigation.
