For the seventh year in a row, the Knights have a top Florida venue on their campus.

The CFE Arena was ranked as the third-best venue in the state by Spectra, "the experts in hosting and entertainment," according to its website. The Arena secured its spot on the Venue Today Florida Top Stops list yet again thanks to its gross ticket sales and attendance for the 2014 season.

With a capacity ranging from 5,001 to 10,000, the Arena welcomed several comedians and artists in 2014, including Amy Schumer, Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B. and many more.

"It's an honor to be recognized by Venues Today for seven straight years," said Spectra's Brian Hixenbaugh, general manager of the CFE Arena, in a release. "We will continue to work hard to provide the community with quality entertainment and memorable customer experiences."

And when the Arena — renamed in May 2013 — isn't bursting with music or laughs, the sound of squeaky shoes and cheers roar out during home basketball games.
