Team Bullseye hit the mark and won the College of Business Administration’s Great Capstone Case Competition, sponsored by Target.

As part of the college’s Capstone course, the competition is held at the end of each semester, and is designed to help business students improve their communication, analytical, teamwork and presentation skills beyond the classroom by coming up with strategies that address real-world business issues, according to a press release.

“I’m so proud of them,” the winning team’s lab instructor, Charlie Viggiano, said in a press release. “Team Bullseye is an excellent example for the college in its vision to graduate students who are risk-takers, excellent communicators, and date-driven decision-makers,” Viggiano said.

Each team is tasked with developing a business plan for a specific issue facing the sponsoring organization. The plans are reviewed by faculty members from the College of Business administration, and then teams pitch their plans to judges from the industry in addition to College of Business faculty members.
