Anti-Semitic stickers were found on a Central Florida Future newsstand outside UCF's Tower 4 residence hall Sunday night. Following an inspection of area newsstands Monday, the student publication determined the stickers had been removed and is not pressing charges at this time.

Accompanied by UCF Police Department Officer Greg Larkin, the Future determined that the stickers had been removed. The stickers' sentiments do not reflect the views of the Future, an independent Gannett-owned operation that reports on UCF and the surrounding area. The incident is not believed to be directed at the Future or its staff.

Jeff Kiel, president and publisher of Florida Today, the Future's Melbourne-based parent paper, released the following statement after the incident: "It's sad that amidst all of the good happening on campus, from time-to-time, we are confronted with hateful acts of vandalism."

As of Sunday night, UCF News & Information did not have any additional information, however, a police report has been filed.
