Orlando ranked No. 20 out of 326 cities based on metrics that accounted for cost of living, job and educational opportunities and a city's overall "youth friendliness."

Ann Arbor, Michigan, was ranked No. 1 overall, while Gainesville placed No. 5 and Tampa placed No. 22. Miami Gardens took the lowest rank in Florida, coming in at No. 297.

Earlier WalletHub studies have ranked Orlando among the top cities for veterans, community colleges and Valentine's Day, but among the worst for teachers.
