Update: Donald Trump arrived at the rally around 3:22 p.m. The event was scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Original story: Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has yet to make an appearance at his UCF rally, which was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Nearly 45 minutes past the planned start time, attendees were heard chanting, "We want Trump!"

Joe Gruters, vice chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, says Trump is en route and expected to arrive between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. A few speakers addressed the packed CFE Arena, where the event is being held.

Trump held another rally in Kansas this morning, which could be the reason for the delay.
