U.S. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey has raised far more money from his home state than any other candidate in the broad sprawling Democratic presidential field.

But in terms of individual New Jerseyans donating to candidates? More people are "feelin' the Bern" than opening their wallet for their junior senator.

Booker has raised more than $2.5 million from individual New Jerseyans from January to June 30, according to a USA TODAY NETWORK New Jersey analysis of federal elections data provided by the Center for Public Integrity, a nonprofit investigative news organization in Washington, D.C.

By comparison, all other Democratic presidential candidates raised about $3.9 million from New Jerseyans during the same time period. Booker raised nearly five times as much as President Donald Trump, who collected $526,600 from New Jerseyans.

While Booker comes in at the top in total money raised, his base of New Jersey donors is not as broad as other Democratic presidential candidates.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders had almost three times more donors from New Jersey than Booker, who also trailed Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Vice President Joe Biden.

We break down the total donations garnered by each candidate below as well as an approximation, rounded to the nearest hundred, of the number of donors each had.
