The Knights have a made a switch under center.

Five days after Justin Holman replaced Pete DiNovo at quarterback in the Croke Park Classic, head coach George O'Leary confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday that Holman was the new starter.

"It's Holman's job right now so basically he goes out there," O'Leary told Shannon Owens-Green. "We've got three kids we're working with, but Holman's been elevated to No. 1."

The sophomore, who served as Blake Bortles' primary backup last season, completed 9-of-14 passes in relief of DiNovo on Saturday, and accounted for three touchdowns.

DiNovo completed just 3-of-8 passes on Saturday.

UCF is on a bye week this week, but travels to Missouri to face the Tigers next Saturday.
