Despite the rumors and speculation about his plans to retire, UCF head coach George O'Leary said that he plans to continue coaching through the end of his contract, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Sentinel reports that on Friday, O'Leary said he has "every intention of coaching through the end of my contract."

After signing an extension at the end of last season, O'Leary's contract keeps him as the Knights' head coach through the end of the 2017 season.

The head coach also told the Sentinel that after the UCF's bowl game, he will go to his lake house in Georgia and think about his future, but that "as of right now, I expect to be coaching."
