One of the lingering questions following Monday's announcement of Bright House Networks Stadium's new East Side Club: How would it be paid for?
On the agenda at Thursday's Finances and Facilities meeting is a proposal for the UCF Convocation Corp. to transfer $2.6 million as an unrestricted gift to the Golden Knights Corporation.
"The transfer will be used by the Golden Knights Corp. to construct the East Side Club in the Bright House Networks Stadium," the item states.

The Finances and Facilities committee is a portion of Thursday's Board of Trustees meeting.
The money is available because the UCFCC refinanced its housing debt in 2014, in addition to anticipated savings from refinancing its arena debt this year and existing surplus dollars.
Originally proposed with an approximated $1.4 million price tag, the extension's cost has since ballooned to an estimated $2.5 million, UCF spokesman Andy Seeley said in a previous interview with the Central Florida Future.
The East Side Club is expected to be open for the 2015 football season opener against FIU and will serve frozen drinks and beer as well as soft drinks.
The area will also be open hours before and after games, allowing to pre-game and celebrate victory without ever leaving the stadium. Members will also be permitted to rent the space for private events.
