UCF Athletic Director Todd Stansbury was named to the NCAA D-I Football Oversight Committee Friday. The committee is tasked with supervising licensing of postseason bowls and with the selection procedures for the FCS Championship.

Other voting members on the committee include Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby, Miami Athletic Director Blake James and University of Georgia head coach Mark Richt. There are a total of nine voting members and four non-voting members.

"I'm truly honored to have been selected to serve on this important committee," Stansbury said in a release. "I'm looking forward to working with this distinguished, dynamic group of people."

A student athlete will be added as a voting member and another will be added as a non-voting member at a later date. The committee was chosen by the 40-member NCAA Division I Council.
