The UCF Track & Field team closed out its season on Thursday after sending four Knights to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon for a seventh consecutive year.

Sophomore J'nea Bellamy led UCF with three earned spots in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, as well as the 4x100-meter relay.

In the 100-meter dash, Bellamy set a personal best time of 11.74 seconds, placing fifth in her heat and 20th overall. She also finished 20th overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.47 seconds, placing eighth in her heat.

Both performances weren't enough to advance Bellamy into Saturday's finals.

At nationals, she was one of only 11 runners to compete in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.

The Knights' 4x100-meter relay team of senior Kirsten Nieuwendam, juniors Christal Peterson and Briana Vaughn, and Bellamy placed 21st overall in the event with a time of 45.32 seconds.
