The stars are shining bright as the American Athletic Conference has announced winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for games ending Jan.10 and UCF's junior center Justin McBride has earned the weekly honor roll.

McBride averaged 15.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for UCF. McBride scored a game-high tying 20 points in his last outing at No.15 SMU on this past Sunday.

McBride on the season has played 14 games, averaging 7.0 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. He is second on the team in field goal percentage at 66.7 percent, only behind Tacko Fall.

McBride has been on the AAC Weekly Honor Roll previously in his sophomore campaign for his performance against the Wildcats. He exploded for a career high 31 points on 12-of-15 shooting while adding eight rebounds.

The Knights next game is Saturday, Jan. 16 at 4:30 p.m. as they host East Carolina for a conference event.
