UCF Athletics released the official 2016-17 football schedule today.
The Knights will kick off the 2016 season against the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 3. It will be the second such matchup in program history, and will be the first time since 2008 that UCF starts off a season against the Bulldogs.
UCF will also play two Big 10 teams back-to-back. The first game is against Michigan, Saturday, Sept. 10. A week later, the Knights will host Maryland on Family Weekend, Saturday, Sept. 17.
The Knights will have their bye week after they travel to conference rival Houston on Saturday, Oct. 29. UCF will also travel to Tampa this year for its fourth consecutive matchup against conference rival USF two days after Thanksgiving.
