The times for the first three Knights home football games have been announced.

Saturday, Sept. 3 against South Carolina State at 7 p.m. airing on ESPN3

Saturday, Sept. 17 against Maryland at 7 p.m. airing on CBS Sports Network

Friday, Oct. 7 against Tulane at 8 p.m. airing on ESPN2 or ESPNU

The first game of the season for the Knights will be the second time in history the Knights have played South Carolina State. Last time they played the Knights shut out the Bulldogs by a score of 17-0.

The game against Maryland will mark the second consecutive week the Knights will face a Big Ten opponent as they will play at “The Big House” the week before when they take on Michigan. The Knights will look to take advantage of the friendly confounds of Bright House Networks Stadium as the game will take place during family weekend at UCF.

The only conference game that has been scheduled thus far is the Friday night matchup against Tulane. The Knights usually have a few midweek games on their schedule but the Tulane matchup is the only midweek game on the 2016 schedule.

Kickoff times for the rest of the American Athletic Conference games are still to be determined.
